Guest guest
Do we know what this stuff really is? Acryamide gels such as Bioalcamid have been used by many with good results, but long term safety information is lacking. We don't know who the manufacturer is, or anything else. I'd sure be cautious.Other similar agents have had problems of fibrosis and infection. I sure would want to know who's making the stuff and what it actually is before flying down to wherever and having it shot into my body.On May 10, 2006, at 11:20 AM, PozHealth wrote: I have an announcement here for people that may be interested in being a part of our initial trial for PAAG -medical polyacrylamide hydrogel. This is an injectable and removable implant material with a significant track record. There are currently several PAAG brand names products on the market, including Aquamid, Phigel, and Amazing Gel. The implant is indicated as a large volume filler, for the face, buttocks, hips, body contouring and lips. It CANNOT and will NOT be used for breast augmentation. We have a limited number of patients we can include, but they will receive injections of up to 100CC's for free. Unfortunately, the injections should be done while you're under so the best candidate will be those who are already having another surgery under general anesthesia. And how much are these little services? I'm sure that they're not talking elective gall bladder removal.......... Barrowpozbod@...
