Guest guest
Sorry that you've joined this happy little club, but welcome. Don't dwell on T cell numbers for now, they fluctuate like tidal movements. If your viral load is under control, they'll probably bounce back.If I could harp on a point, your case is typical of two key lessons I'm beating to death right now:1. New cases in the gay community are being spread from one UB2 to another, when one doesn't know he's been recently infected. The newly infected are the most efficient at spreading hiv, due to very high viral loads.2. Finding out you have HIV by a PCP diagnosis is a bad idea. I'm glad you're still with us.On May 12, 2006, at 10:15 AM, PozHealth wrote:Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. My name is . I found out that I was poz during a two month admission for PCP in 12/03. It was quite a shock at first since I always had safer sex, but there's no reason to dwell on how I got it. I'm on meds with an undetectable viral load, but unfortunately my T-cells dropped to 64 from 150 within the last ten weeks. Probably, due to all the stress I'm under. Specifically Medicare part D which just took affect recently. Barrowpozbod@...
