Guest guest
Hi, My advocate is out of town, and I had a mtg on 3/7 w/the Dept. of Health and Dept. of Ed. They told me that I needed to fill out a form, submit it w/all current evaluations and assessments. When they rec'd it they would have 20 days to sched the initial mtg to obtain consent to do evaluations. Under Hawaii law ch. 56 it states that the family could use the IFSP in place of the IEP. Therefore, should I submit the form along w/all the docs, and at the initial mtg decline consent for evaluation and request to use the existing IFSP in place of the IEP? Thanks, Lorraine
