Guest guest
I used to pack salads in a jar for my daughter's lunch, but I never thought to add the dressing to the bottom of the jar-very clever! I always just sent a smaller container with the dressing for her to add when ready to eat. She LOVES tabouleh salad made from quinoa-she wraps it in big lettuce leaves with LOADS of spourts...also likes egg salad and sprouts on a lettuce " wrap " . > > > > http://allrecipes.com/video/858/mason-jar-salad/detail.aspx > > > > I prefer more greens that what these show, but the idea would be the same. > > I can imagine each of our kids enjoying making their own salads to take on > > family outings! > > > > -- > > *Diane K* > > Heart of Christmas Farms > > http://hocfarms.com > > on facebook: > > http://www.facebook.com/pages/Heart-Of-Christmas-Farms/62673422893 > > on localharvest: > > http://www.localharvest.org/heart-of-christmas-farms-llc-M19402 > > > > > >
