Guest guest
Well I just got my first results from blood taken after four weeks on Sustiva/Tenofovir/3TC (after almost 4 years of being on nothing at all). In just four weeks my VL went from 140,000 to 213 and t-cells went from 220 to 350. My doctor says this is just about the most dramatic decline of viral load he has ever seen in such a short time. I guess time will tell whether we can now get from 213 to undetectable etc... For the most part, i am tolerating the Sustiva very well, but I am finding that (maybe this is coincidental) if i eat a heavy meal late at night and then take the Sustiva - I seem to sleep incredibly badly and feel the way I did during those first few days on the drug when i had the usual side-effects of Sustiva that people get in the beginning. So i guess i have to stop myself from eating a gigantic wedge of Camembert cheese just before bed!!
