Guest guest
ahem, aren't they everywhere?!...just kidding...my husband is teasing me about this because I am doing the same thing...seeing BP's everywhere that is...I think it's something akin to seeing pregnant women everywhere when you're expecting...somehow they magically seem to stand out more...I was having a conversation this week with a man who I was dealing with at work (I work for the government)...so I was in a setting where I would not have expected to find myself talking about BPD...this man was telling me his family situation and the stress on him from dealing with a son who keeps having inexplicable rages and then snapping out of them and acting as if nothing had happened...so of course I start asking questions...you know, going down the checklist of common symptoms and the gumboot fit...hmm, I say...what do you know about Borderline Personality Disorder or Manic Depression? (see, I can still relate to other mental illnessess and I do know I am not qualified to make a diagnosis)...here's the address on the Internet for a good site and here's the name of a good book and here's some good chat lists for info and what you should likely do is get a professional opinion to help you determine what you are dealing with...he left to go to the closest bookstore and find SWOES....even if it's not BPD, he'll have a place to start and a new awareness...isn't that how we can each help the most by sharing the awareness with each other and, when possible, with others who might be searching for the same answers we have found Re: SWOE-panic > Another quick thought...sometimes when I read about this BPD stuff, I start > to see BP stuff EVERYWHERE.
