Guest guest
As I mentioned in a previous note, I've just returned from the Aids Clinical Trials Group meeting in Baltimore. There were two bits of information I thought I'd share.Hepatitis C drugs are moving along well, and there is incredible optimism for these agents. None produce "liver cleansing," however.IL-7 (not the "oh so 1995" IL-2) is looking very, very promising for immune reconstitution, and is advancing in early clinical testing........Nobody is seriously looking at other boosting agents than Norvir, and nobody who does pharmacology for a living is suggesting giving it up.no specifics, just noises, but very good ones............
