Guest guest
I'm wondering what you all have done, if anything about pierced ears? For the last few weeks Allie has been pretending to wear earrings. I asked her a couple of times if she wanted to get her ears pierced like her big sister and she smiled from ear to ear. She doesn't have super good expressive language, doesn't feel pain except extreme distress, but at the same time is sensitive about her body. She's nearly 6. I don't mind getting them pierced, got her's pierced when she was almost 4, it was very easy to care for, I just don't wanna get it done and then 1 hr later her wanna rip 'em out. At the same time, I want to encourage her to do girly stuff (if she wants) like wear jewelry. In the last few months she's taken to wearing bracelets and such. The other consideration would be if we could chelate at all. I will only use 14k gold or surgical steel posts, but still don't know the details of it.
