Guest guest
Hi Maureen, My , who is 11 now, has no real concept of money. Do you find that receiving the allowance is a motivator? She often asks if she can be a "big help" and likes to sweep. She works for candy. Another Maureen (age 10) receives a weekly allowance for chores. Her responsibilities include sorting the laundry into two piles (whites and darks) and then bagging them for the trip to the laundromat. She is also responsible for clearing the table after each meal. Maureen

Guest guest
Tamara That is a funny story. That definately would take some great reading skills to order a video online. You must have been both shocked and impressed. We are working on Skylar with money. She is learning values and now how to count out the right money for what she wants. Trying to tell her about tax is a little difficult. I know that it is important fo her to learn about money and prices and I hope that she learns as well as your daughter did.
