Guest guest
I looked at Sprout House and their shipping charges are out of sight! Can't believe it! I garden, and noticed this year that a lot of the catalogs had increased their shipping costs significantly. I cancelled all of them that had done that. I did an online search and came up with some other sprout options for peas: http://www.wheatgrasskits.com/sprouting/dun_pea.htm They have dun peas, which look like a type of green pea for $6.95 for a pound, and shipping is $$5.50, priority mail. Shipping for 2 lbs is $8.05. I went to amazon.com, and found that Sprout House has a lot of their seeds there, and with $25 they are eligible for FREE SHIPPING! Here's one I plan to get soon, it's a pound jar: http://www.amazon.com/The-Sprout-House-Sprouting-Broccoli/dp/B00522AFRE/ref=pd_s\ im_k_3 http://www.amazon.com/Green-Pea-Sprouting-Seed-Organic/dp/B0010XT2U0/ref=pd_sim_\ sbs_gro_3 1 lb of Seeds is $4.95, shipping is $6.08. Or you can get 2.5 lb, for $10.95, shipping is $6.90. This seller is Living Whole Foods, but they are SH seeds. When I've tried to sprout peas before, they always start getting slimy and smell bad after a few days, even if I rinse a lot. Anyone have any suggestions? H.
