Guest guest
Hi Eileen, I was asking about uranium a while back among some friends of mine because ds dumped a whole bunch and, like you, I was shocked. Apparently this is highly common among our kids, even when they would have NO apparent exposure (there are certain parts of the States for example where you would expect kids to have uranium exposure). DS did have abdominal x-rays for impaction but IMO it's coming from far more places than that for the amount we've seen :-( Not very helpful, I know, but your child has lots and lots of company with the uranium. Guest guest
Thanks Anita!! That makes me feel a little less worried. At least we have company. Interesting to know your little un did have X-rays though. Its got to be ubiquitious, I agree I bet its in the atmosphere and in water. I'm about to test our water, I'll let you know how I get on. The thing is, apparently its a incredibly heavy metal and hard to get rid of. Our poor kids. I feel for them. Its not their fault. All best, Eileen x > > > > Hi guys > > > > Read a fair bit about Uranium on the site, about bits of bomb > getting > > into the water supply etc (sorry not being facetious!). > > > > I think Uranium can be from X-Rays. had these as a newborn, > > they detected a hole in the heart (which healed over).
