Guest guest
A week ago my non- verbal daughter (6) had a serious febrile seizure after coming down with a cold. The seizure lasted an hour and her lung also collapsed so she ended up sedated and ventilated in intensive care for the weekend. She had a CT scan and lumbar puncture which ruled out meningitis. She has had a LOT of drugs: diazepam, lorezapam, morphine, midazolam, choral hydrate, vallergan and IV antibiotics and antivirals. Since leaving hospital on Monday she has been on high dose oral augmentin which finishes tomorrow. What is the best way to help her recover from the onslaught of all these drugs? We are giving lots of capsules of Custom Probiotics, Culturelle and Candex, with the timing of these away from the augmentin doses. She is also on 2 capsules of Enhansa. She's had some really nasty poos and am pretty sure some gut pain. When could we start chelating again? We have been doing AC chelation for 6 months and are now up to 10mg DMSA and 5mg ALA every 3 hours. She gets all the recommended AC supplements both on and off round. Anything else we could be doing at this moment? Thanks
