Guest guest
as some of you may remember, I started a social group many months ago for girls on the spectrum, I am proud to say that I have changed the lives of a few girls for the better, they have formed true friendships, and are much happier since being introduced. But because the group has grown, outings are becoming harder due to varying schedules, school holidays, etc... I am considering starting a business geared to this, respite for parents/socialization for the girls. If there was a place where you could bring your girls to socialize with other girls on the spectrum, would you? The approach I am thinking of is sort of like a monthly membership when they could come anytime they want form friday-sunday, with some structured activities such as dancing, singing, bingo, arts & crafts, etc.... if you brought your child what sort of activities would you like to seeavailable, would you restrict it to just girls, what would be a resonable monthly fee???? All feedback would be appreciated. This will not be a social skill program or any such therapy but strictly for socializing.
