Hi guys,

My word,Yeh,kya ho raha hain?.

Tons and tons of mail, some laced with Hindi shayari, and yet I am not clear

who,why and where is this talks leading to,something like a chatroom,where u

drop in accidently and hear all the chatter chatter, but understand nothing.

Did, anyone outside India, see STARNEWS,KAUN BANEGA MUKHYAMANTRI episode on

Maharashtra's future CM,y'day on 1stOCT,2004,in which there was a live debate in

Wardha-Maharashtra,on issues affecting common man,and ALTHOUGH,IT WAS BEAMED AT

2am,I was awake to see,if I could spot any of our college staff in that huge

crowd, and to my disappointment, there were none.Infact, the discussion centred

most of the time around Sewagram and the ashram wasis, who have been always

opposing the construction of any industrial zone around it's periphery and

succeeding ,much to the displeausre of local crowd, who want industries, jobs etc

in Wardha district.

Any comments on the stand taken?.Meaning is it right,to oppose employment to

many in the region,on the sole basis of pollution?.

Go on Ashok,UR TIME STARTS NOW.

Bye.

the answer is no -

if we are feeding the hungry -- improving the quality of life - except ofcourse

the pollution -

now we can follow america's example in recent times - to minimize pollution --

also can the industries be located a little away from residential areas --

one good thing about the twin cities ( villages ) is that there is no rivers to

dump industrial waste --

one million dollar question - where are they going to get water from --

let's not thwart progress........i am overjoyed to hear that politicians are

ultimately looking at this impoverished backward area rather then focussing all

development in the affluent areas which are already affluent.

what say thou ?
