Hi All,

Our new CLOSED (restricted membership) NonBP-oasis4 list, for those with

fathers who may have BPD, is now taking on members.

Those who have a BP FATHER can SUBSCRIBE to that list by sending an

empty email to the yahoogroups listserv at:

NonBP-oasis4-subscribe

You'll have to respond to the listserv's bounce-back message by pressing

the <REPLY> and then <SEND> buttons on your computer.

As I recognize your name from the active list membership, I will APPROVE

your membership request as it comes to me from the listserv. Others --

ie, *inactive* list lurkers with BP fathers -- please send me an email

stating why you qualify to be on this list.

Your membership on this new NonBP-oasis4 list is expected to be active.

We've removed your reason to lurk (ie, anonymity), now you can do the

empowering work while receiving the validation and support of others in

the same boat.

Having been (1) the daughter of a BP, (2) the wife of a BP, and (3) the

mother of a son and daughter whose father had BPD, I am aware of some of

the variations in BP dynamics that can occur in the dysfunctional family

setting when a family member has BPD.

Please do not unsubscribe from the feeder lists -- ie, ModOasis,

NonBP-oasis, WTOsibling, and NonBP-sibling. Those who are lurking on

these feeder lists, who are in a CHOSEN RELATIONSHIP with the BP in

their life, can step up to the mike and post questions about BP mothers,

BP fathers, and BP siblings. Those listmembers in an UNCHOSEN

RELATIONSHIP with the BP in their life and who can relate can respond on

those platforms.

These four feeder lists -- ModOasis, NonBP-oasis, WTOsibling, and

NonBP-sibling -- are also our entry-level lists for those adult children

and siblings who have experienced the lightbulb effect and are searching

for answers.

Cheers,

Edith
