Guest guest
I have been learning different types of sprouting off and on for a few years now and pretty much have the process down but now I am at a loss as to how to eat them. I first started with Pinto Beans because I am Hispanic and grew up eating them daily for every meal so I started sprouting them before I cooked them to make them heather. That brings me to my first question, once I have cooked them in the slow cooker for 8hrs we then re-fry them (despite the term, oil is not added for this). But I look at them and wonder if I have just " cooked " all my hard sprouting work out. Right now the only thing " cooked " are the Pinto beans, everything else we are eating is " raw " (no meat, dairy, gluten, oats, and corn) So I have been sprouting some other things but not sure how to eat them other then just grazing on them through out the day. Oh and we are making sprouted almond milk. Once the sprouts are ready, can I dehydrate or put them in the freezer for smoothies later with out loosing all the good stuff in them? Im sure I have more questions that I have forgotten about but this is a good start. Thanks!
