Guest guest
Mel. Have you ever heard of 'Chia Pet'? Remember your mantra: 'Experiment!' ew I actually sprouted Flax Look!! It's so pretty in the salad. Now here's a good question. Chia Seeds. If I can sprout Flax seeds, can I do the exact same thing with Chia? And can you mix up the seeds?? These seeds took a long long time to grow. Much slower than the brassicas. But who cares. I get to put flax in my sprout salad. lol Melody

Guest guest
Your flax looks great, Melody! Mine always just gelled up and became a gummy mess...was one of those things I could never get to sprout. Guest guest
Since chia grows on those funny little clay heads, it ought to grow on your coir. Or I'd sure think so. Does catnip grow about like the herbs grow? Neighbor has a cat. What else can catnip be used for? My mother, when I was little, gave me catnip tea when I was sick. I have no idea how she did that. Would it be chopped up and hot or boiling water put over and steeped? Or does it have to be dried first? I was too young to remember it. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Friday, March 30, 2012 8:56 PM Subject: I actually sprouted Flax  Look!!
