Guest guest
This is scary !!! House Pass Bill to Reduce Truancy – The House passed legislation that will help to address the problem of truancy in Georgia’s public schools. This bill would make schools more accountable for reporting truancy. Parents could face fines of $100 for violating guidelines set by the school district. Truancy is a major predictor of a juvenile delinquent behavior, mental illness, family disfunction and failure to graduate. When nearly 40% of our youth do not graduate from high school, this bill can identify youth who are headed for trouble.
