Guest guest
Hi. I use the round green trays and when all the sprouts reach the top (about 5 days), I just remove the covers, put them in indirect light and they green up. Sometimes I like to see how tall they will get so I do them for one or two days more. I can't cover them with the green covers because that would squish them, so I just take a microwave cover and when I go to bed, I cover them (so they don't dry out overnight). Kind of like a humidity dome. Works just fine. I probably have a youtube video showing this SOMEWHERE on youtube. lol Melody > > > Hi all-I'm new to the group and have been sprouting for only a few weeks. I have seen where the health benefits of broccoli sprouts are greatest after 3-4 days. My question is when does the 3-4 days start. I mean it takes 1 day to soak and the last day to have in the light. Is the 3-4 day period the in between of those 2 periods? I can't seem to get a clear answer. My broccoli sprouts usually take 6 days from soaking to eating. > > Thanks for any replies > > Bob > >
