OT: Replacement dental fillings in large cavities question

Sorry off topic - Going back to the recent thread on removing dental amalgams - can anyone share any advice on replacing large fillings in molars - what you used and the sort of cost - it seems you can't use composite fillings in large cavities but the alternatives seem unbelievably expensive eg £6-900 per filling? (I desperately need to have my 6 amalgams taken out so any advice would be very helpful). Also any suggestions for supplements to take beforehand other than Vitamin C (selenium makes me feel very ill) Many thanks - .
