Guest guest
Sounds wonderful -- 20 lbs of cabbage is a lot. What are you going to make with it? That came from outside garden not inside, for sure. I barely have a few little sprouts coming up in my Aerogarden. Not in all the holes, but in 2 or 3 in 2 Aerogardens. I was thrilled to see the little leaves start to unfurl where I could see them. Another day or two and they will be higher to see even if I'm not right on top of them. The flowers aren't growing though. They need night and I might have that one messed up and it was used so I should put in a new bulb perhaps. I got a reflector to go around one and to increase the power of the light. I could try that on it first. I have ordered some new bulbs so that one will be first on the list.  Isn't a 20 lb cabbage a lot even for an outside garden? Sounds like an accomplishment. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, May 12, 2012 2:27 PM Subject: Ah Spring!  I just harvested a 20# red cabbage from my garden. Yummy! Yummy! I loves me gardens - both indoors and out. ew

Guest guest
Actually, cabbage stands up really well in the refrigerator. 20# is bigger than I usually grow them for two people. I wasn't paying attention to it. Too many fresh things in the garden all the time. I pant to make slaw. Put some in a green salad. Steam some, and enjoy it a lot. ew Re: Ah Spring!
