Guest guest
Three years ago I received a series of 4 Sculptra treatments, and the results were as remarkable as many of the folks on this message board have happily reported. You lose about 15 to 20 years from your appearance, people stop asking you if you're sick, and you actually feel good about yourself again. Last April, I had one treatment intended to serve as the 'touch up' often described as necessary after about 2 years from the initial treatment series. There was no effect. In July, I had a second treatment of Sculptra, and after 2 months past, still nothing. A third half-treatment (3CC) was administered in Sept, 2005. It is now Feb 2006, and I still have depressions in my cheeks, which have actually deepened. It is puzzling how a substance was so positively effective 2 years ago, but is now producing no results. I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar disappointing experience with their second go-around with Sculptra as I have, what explanations might be available, and what alternatives might be suggested. Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this issue.
Guest guest
The only problem with permanent solutions like Silikon is just that, they cannot be removed if needed for any number of reasons. Believe me I love the idea of done once and done with it vs the yearly touch up but we have no idea what side effects silikon implantation will have in 15-20 years. > > I just think that Silikon 1000 is still the only way to fly.
