Food intolerances with no GI symptoms??

Hi, my 7 year old son has a diagnosis of autism and sensory processing disorder,

but no obvious GI symptoms. I emailed a nutritionist specialising in ASD and she

says he's therefore highly unlikely to have food allergies/intolerances or

candida and there's no point testing for them.

Does anyone have any knowledge/personal experience on this? Or failing that, the

name of a good specialist?
