Howdy !!

I came across a request from Ashok for Rohit's intro. I believe he

has already introduced himself earlier. Anyway if that was not

satisfactory, I shall do the honours. ( Rohit has permitted me for

the same,today morning ).

Rohit is from 1989 batch. He was one of the first hostellers I had

met in 1990, during my first ever visit to B- block , JNBH. He

joined as a post graduate in the Department of ENT and qualified as

MS in 2002. He is married to Dr Mugdha Tapadiya ( also from 1989

batch ). She did her MD Medicine from Sewagram as well. They have a

son ,named Tanish , and an another child is due next year Spring

time. They are settled in Amritsar and are doing Private Practise.

For a start he has so many unique qualities, too many to list. He is

an exceptionally talented musician. He is a master of Keyboards and

has dazzled many of us ,for years, with his song and music

selection. He is a lover of ghazals and punjabi folk music. He is

also a big big fan of the late Noosrat Ali Fateh Khan and Adnan Sami.

Another art he possesses is Organization and Analytical input.

Whether it is a dance number, song sequence, a skit or even just-a-

minute, no one.. I mean no one can beat him. This was visible in our

own Ganesh and Gathering functions. He would always help out in

crunch situations. So we ( `91 boys) fondly address him as " Tony "

or " Paaji " .

Rarely have I met a person as humourous as Rohit. He was a good

senior and now has become a good friend. Right from 1991, `89 batch

and `91 batch boys lived in the same block ( B-block : the best

block) so we folks know each other quiet well.

I think this intro should be enough for my dear friend Rohit. What

say , Ashok ?

Tony Paaji, kindly excuse me if I have left anything out of the

introduction. Now lets get some input from the man himself.

Ok Ready ? Curtains up, Lights on, mic on .............

Ravi `91.
