Guest guest
I recently read that a protein called myostatin (which has been shown to inhibit muscle growth) was measured in much higher levels in what we might term " strength workouts " (low reps, high % of 1RM) compared to higher volume workouts (higher reps, lower % of 1 RM). I am wondering if anyone in our group heard about this study and can elaborate. I have not been able to find the study details. I think it might have been done at Baylor.
