Here are some tips, realizing that in stressful situations, these things are easer said than done: 1. Every committment or " extra " in your life that can be eliminated should be. Note: I recognize the need for " peaceful " moments, so do not consider those the first to go...but some times making a list can reveal something that needs to be set aside for now. 2. Keep a daily schedule. Some people can do this in their minds. Most need a physical calender. There is not shame in a calendar:) It can be your best friend. 3. Don't keep anything around you don't need...eliminated paper work, what have you, that may be cluttering your life. 4. Your family that is going " nuts " needs to help you. If disorganization drives them nuts, maybe they can lend their organizational skills to you:) Every one needs to have their jobs and do them. You can't do what needs to be done on your own. 5. Personal note: Several times over the last years, I've realized I was suddenly forgetting things, thinking I'd gotten things done or completely forgetting really odd things. Every time this happened, my wise husband gave me great advice: Look at your activities and eliminate one. You have too. I've had to make really hard choices at time and leave things behind for now...while no elemination releases us from the inevitable time crunches, the continual review of how we use our time can help. Which reminds me that I " m suppose to cut back on my computer time so got to go. love to all and I hope this helps dear, Kat http://www.autismtreatment.info/
