Guest guest
Gosh, . I can really feel your sense of accomplishment. I'm so proud of you, too. If your hubby is like mine, compliments aren't a dime a dozen, so when they say something, they really mean it! AL#4 was definitely the best AL video. To be honest with you, you'll love AL#6 just as much, if not more. It's that good. What I really love about AL#4 is that the whole tape is doable for me and darn it, I feel like a Tae Bo warrior when I'm done with that tape. I've literally kicked butt during that workout. ;-D Be prepared to find yourself grabbing this tape all the time. I know I did. I even had a nightmare that it broke! Thanks, Debbie, There really is a sense of accomplishment with this one..and 's pointing that out during the tape helps too. I love it..no long killer reps.. is at his best, and like you said..it's doable. I have the feeling we will be doing this A LOT more often than the studio advanced. I didn't see Debbie or Jasmine in this one..are they there? I might have spotted Jasmine, if she is the one that leaves for water..well one of the ones that goes for the water. - who is now excited about the al6...but will have to get through the al5 first. Guest guest
and Debbie (and whoever else is interested...LOL), AL4 is my favorite too...for the reason Debbie mentioned: that it's doable (for me at full intensity, start to finish), yet challenging the whole way. I, too, feel accomplished. I love AL2, also, and I do it to push the envelope, so to speak, but AL4 seems like a perfect fit. :-) "debbie stout" wrote: original article: Gosh, . My AL4 came today..that should be a brag for them for getting it here within a week, and I didn't pay for the fast ship. I LOVE THIS TAPE!! I have never had this much fun doing a TB workout. The hubby loved it too..he kept saying how much fun it was. Ok, the brag.. uses alot of the floor leg work from the BL1,,but has us standing while we do it. Leg lifts..holding the leg out to the side..etc. And he doesn't have us touching our toe down between lifts..you stand on one leg until the reps are done. Nice thing is..not too many reps. I was standing with my leg out in the roundhouse position, guard up..and the hubby turned around a looked at me and he said, " Damn! That looks outstanding! " He said a bunch of other nice things too...but the thing was that I have worked so hard towards this..and his reaction made me cry. My normal reaction to new tapes is, " you must be nuts. " Not this time...I could do quite a bit of it..and the rest will follow with practice. -whose quads are still protesting..but it is a good burn. >> Way to go ! Guest guest
I made it through day 8 and am now doing well on day 9 of my healthy eating challenge. It's actually easier now. I'm starting to think of food as fuel rather than a treat and am treating other things (like time to taebo, yoga, and reading a fun book, or a cup of diet hot cocoa and a fire) as a treat. I like having this control. Jenni, are you still hanging in there with me? My biggest brag (yes, I am using the word " brag " so that Susi doesn't roundhouse kick me), however, is that yesterday for the first time I wore these pair of yoga zone hiphugger workout pants and I think I look like a lot of women on the taebo tapes (not of course)! I haven't worn hiphuggers since high school, and even then, I avoided them because I had a tummy. I have ABS and what I would call a waste for the first time! This means I might actually be able to wear a bikini and more importantly, that I don't have to taebo in my underwear to watch my abs work (the latter should make happy). Now if I only had a cute middrift top. Elena
