We do have very good, regularly changed air filters on our central air system.

When we did have our air vent system professionally vacuumed several years back (then it was a 30+ year-old house that had never had this done) - almost nothing came out. It shook my confidence that this type of cleaning does much.

Also, I was living in this environment without problems until the bad weather started. Go figure.

Then why am I having breathing problems INSIDE the centerally air conditioned house??I did throw the trash out yesterday afternoon (under one minute)resulting in the need for Albuterol, a nap and, eventually, one Excederin. Felt better, but couldn't sleep until about 5 a.m.I could live with feeling trapped in the house (and afraid the AC/electricity will go out in one of the thunderstorms), but why am I feeling bad inside too?
