There is no way of telling how far it will go, really depends on tests and treatments. It is worth mentioning (stressing!) at your first appointment that you need to stretch your Caudwell as far as possible, and that you can afford only a limited amount of tests etc, so that they are aware only to order the most essential ones. Keep in mind that often the medicines from their pharmacy can sometimes be obtained elsewhere for much less, so worth asking for a private rx from the doc there (£7 or so for prescription only) and then shopping around your local pharmacies and online UK ones for generic versions. The only downside is that you would have to pay out of your pocket, as Caudwell would not cover for those. We we able to save £100+ a month this way and save Caudwell funds for tests and appointments. Btw if you are a Treating Autism member you qualify for 25% off Nutricentre supplements, also Cenaverde and many other places. Hello,

I've booked to see Dr. Goyal and the nutritionist in march and have got the caudwell funding for 2k. I wanted to know from parent who have had biomed via breakspear as to how far did the 2k funding last? I mean is it enough to cover the initial tests? and after it does get exhausted how much monthly costs should i keep in mind to do the biomed well? Sorry am very new to all of this. I get about 300 pounds DLA for him every month and i beleive that is the most i will be able to afford myself and that too with great difficulty.

Just wanted to get prepared for all this.

Thanks

Kanwal
