Guest guest
When ex-alumni and more importantly ex-faculty wards staunchly stand by the belief (on behalf of ALL such people) that EVERY ONE of them is a born genius with a high IQ and cannot be equated to 'losers' from rest of India then........ ....how can you assume 'existence of nepotism has been acknowledged'? Yes we cannot undo the past but what people have attempted repeatedly is to raise its profile so that future generations of mgims students can say more confidently that 'the system is fair'. I have no objections to KHS nominess- I think it is a well deserved perk for individuals who have given up the bright city lights to work towrads a common dream. I am happy that current generations (many would not have parents from teh same generation as our exceptional senior staff)too have to go through a common sysytem but it MUST STOP AT THIS PPOINT i.e point of entry into medical school. 1) Why should every politically well placed staff kid be in the top 5 ranks through out MMBS - even duds in many cases? 2) Why must staff kids get the plum PG seats/ a pg of their choice- thanks to the above ranks? 3) Why must staff kids get the 'nice' rural postings?
