Guest guest
Anon et al. Glad I could make you laugh. Humor is usually my best defense against Megatron and her antics. Regarding your neighbor...the Vietnam vet with PTSD...my dad is same. He has issues with prescription drugs...currently in recovery, but recovery is such a state of flux one never knows. I read about nada's being able to almost psychicly (sp?)identify their family members' triggers...imagine a household run by a trigger happy nada and a father who, somedays, imagines Ho Chi Min is lurking in every coner. When Megatron started dressing in silk pajamas with mandarin collars, we all thought it was a phase.... Debbie PS Why I call nada Megatron---in my imagination Megatron is one of those giant monsters in the Japanese import sci-fi pictures that used to run on Sunday mornings. Megatron stomps all over the idyllic litle fishing village, crushing everything under foot. When I was in high school my brother and I used to wake up early on Monday mornings to watch " The Young Ones " ---a sit-com from Britain that aired late nights on MTV (we actually knew how to program a vcr!). We laughed over our Cheerios and had a grand time each morning until (cue the ominous drum beat) Megatron would literally stomp down the steps in her half zipped velour robe and start carping about how stupid the show was and how ridiculous it was to waste sleep getting up to watch a show with (insert name of bad split sibling)...crushing our idyllic fishing village, I mean breakfast, in her wake.
