Guest guest
I am learning what to use my sprouts in too. So far Hubby and I have started eating sprout patties and of course sprout salads and sprouts on sandwiches. However we also have added a new regular food of a stirfry, forbidden rice with sprouted rainbow mix. any rice would do though. I have also started sprouting beans before I cook them into the normal bean soup etc. However another thing we have added is fresh sprouted hummus that we make and we put that on some kind of flat bread, (like you would mayo) then a fried or scrambled egg, a slice of cheese and then more sprouts.and eat that like a taco or burrito. I have also started making sprouted flax crackers to eat and it goes with many things, including the fresh sprouted hummus we make. I also like to make a breakfast sandwich that is a scrambled egg with mung beans and then add other sprouts to the sand. I think one of the best tasting things I made was a sprouted granola, that I enjoy eating as a snack as well as with milk in the morning or make like an oatmeal so its nice and hot. Just some ideas we have added, hope this helps some. Â Want to understand the Bible better? Â FREE Â studies. A few weeks ago I was in Whole Foods and the one kind of kale listed in the bins was sold out. My visit a few days ago had at least 3 kinds of kale and they were all in stock. I was just so frustrated by all the excellent produce because since I live alone, I have to severely restrict what I buy or it goes bad. > > As a guilty confession, this is the first time I've thought about what I eat, and only because of health concerns not previously known. I would really appreciate some of you sharing your favorite ways to incorporate sprouts into your diets. Since I don't really know how to cook, I'm not very creative about what to do with these things beyond putting in salads. I will try Melody's sprout patties once I have some sprouts to use. Thanks. > > Dona >
