Guest guest
Still here, The only confirmation I got last week was that I do have a tumor, probably hemangioma, on the left hepatic lobe. The official radiology report from Wednesday's MRI was not posted as of last Friday morning when I saw one of the docs. I was somewhat frustrated because when he walked in at 8am and started talking with me he was not aware that the hemangioma had been discovered and hadn't tried to view the MRI prior to the appointment. Apparently my new, regular physician in charge of my overall stuff had not communicated directly with him (Hepatologist) the week up to the appt. I know his (Hepatologist) nurse was aware because she was the one making sure I got done there on Friday morning. UGH!! So while sitting there he tried to pull up some MRI results on the computer, he could only find the pictures without notes and after 10 minutes of scanning the computer he said it looked like a well encapsulated hemangioma at least 1.5 - 2.0 inches in length. But he withheld final analysis and ideas until the official report comes in. Now I have to go down this Wednesday to see the regular doc, and also have some tests regarding peripheral neuropathy problems. I have no idea what they will say about the hemangioma, all I know is I am having incredible pain under my ribs on the right side and my entire digestive system is wacked. I can't swallow well, have a sore throat all the time and from there on down it's not working-and when it does make it through that's not good either. For a week or two I've had pain right under the sternum-where I would guess my esophagous meets the stomach-since the endoscopy on 1-25 the pain there has doubled, at least. Though the nurse told me on the way out that she didn't think they found anything abnormal with the endoscopy. Right now I feel lousy-mentally and abdominally. I'm starting to worry that they WON'T find anything to explain it and they'll resort to the " there's nothing wrong with you " tactic that is so often used for lack of a better understanding. the only positive aspect . . . ? I've lost 28 pounds since July, I'm averaging a pound a week now so . . . in about 145 weeks I will weigh 0! What dress size is that?!
