Guest guest
Just had to post a brag! and I went to the movies today to see Madagascar and she did it without headphones!! We forgot to bring them and when the movie first started to show the coming attractions she said she wanted to go home - it was too loud. I asked her to give it another minute and then we would leave if she needed to. She said she had to go to the bathroom. When we finished in the bathroom I asked her if she wanted to try it again and she said " yes " !! She sat through the entire movie and only said it was boring - never complained about it being too loud!! Also, she's afraid of the dark and sat in the darkened theatre to see the movie. After the movie, she skipped to the car and was saying, " I saw Madagascar, I saw Madagascar " because she was so proud of herself. I know I'm so proud of her. This is another example of how our kids get older and sometimes are a little better able to cope with their fears and phobias, even though they may never go away completely.
