Guest guest
Hello everyone, have any of you had a magnesium sulphate drip in hospital. I had one during an emergency visit to hospital last week when I could not breathe. It seems to have made an amazing difference to my asthma, I have barely wheezed since that and it has done wonders clearing the mucus from my lungs. I am now taking magnesium supplement which is not good for the stomach but I want to try it. Read that regular use of magnesium can cut asthma drug use by up to half. Today my peak flow hit 450 which is the highest it's been for 9 months. It is normally around 350, 400 at absolute best. Also anyone had poroblems with Symbicort turbo haler, since I went on that in December I have been far worse and lost my voice almost totally. Have not been able to speak above a husky whisper for 8 weeks! Decided to stop the Symbicort to see if that helps. So fed up of all these doctors who chuck mountains of awful drugs at you and don't acknowledge that the side effects are so bad. Thanks for any help you can give me June in London
