Guest guest
Hi , thanks for asking! We had a really good time. I think we wordlessly agreed that the topic of nada was off the table for the night. We had a wonderful dinner and the show was fantastic... he really enjoyed it. As he was leaving, he gave me a hug and said we needed to talk soon, and I said OK. I'm seeing my therapist in a few days, and I'm going to ask her what she thinks about having him come to a session with me. I think it would be really helpful to have her there; she could help keep me on track when I get bamboozled by the decades of patterns he and I have established. I still plan on suggesting that he take my letter to his therapist when he goes next. And I've also been working on a letter to him about his need for proof/justification whenver I talk to him about my feelings. I got a lot down, but have felt the desire to let it sit for a while, so I haven't worked on it in about a week. I figure that will be a good place to stick in 's story about the DID guy who is his own smoking gun! I'll keep you guys posted as to how things go.
