Guest guest
If you buy non organic produce, it has been heavily sprayed with pesticides-a far worse issue than a few lil bugs, if you ask me. Even on conventional produce, the bugs will win the war-it is nature in action, survival of the fittest. Many people advocate freezing grains, produce, etc. to " kill larvae and bugs " , but then you are just eating dead larvae, lol. Let them hatch out and fly off, catch them in your traps-no worries. > > And I was about to go and make a wash out of my baking soda and some water and put that in a spray bottle and spray my veggies when I got them home. Now I know that it won't do anything. > > I never in all my life knew that larvae were so resistant (that they can't be washed off). > > What the heck can one do to get rid of them (if one thinks they have larvae on the produce?) Someone must have invented SOME kind of wash that gets rid of these things, no?? > > Mel >
