Guest guest
Great input June! Thanks. Yeah, I was leary myself about Ephedra. So that wasn't really an option for me. Now explain the Licorice? Not to take if I'm on prednisone? That’s scary huh. I’ll wait then on that one until I’m done with my preds. I was ready to go out and buy some Licorice pills tonight to help me. I have an appointment with an asthma specialist on the 20th, but I’m still on pred’s for getting over pneumonia. So I’ll have to call and bump it back now. Which stinks. But I have to be ‘clean’ from them, LOL, for 2 weeks before going in. I’m going to try your other ideas below. Thanks! Guest guest
Sheila, it says in my book that liquorice is an anti inflammatory and anti allergic substance due to the effect on the body's adrenal glands which produce cortisol. Meaning if you are on Prednisolone ,which does the same thing ,your body produces too much cortisol which is not good. I think when you stop Prednisolone for a while then you could try liquorice. When I came off Pred 2 months ago I went down with lots of little infections, ear, conjunctivitis etc. It takes a while for you own adrenal glands to recover. One thing I did forget to mention was accupuncture which I found wonderful. It relaxes you so much, I find it really good. June > Great input June! Thanks. Yeah, I was leary myself about Ephedra. Guest guest
I have also been posting to get every one help I know that different things trigger asthma but won't you want to get rid of some of the basics if you could and take vitamins that will help you. If you do really want to learn more check out andria.fourpointwellness.com It won't hurt just to find out about another alternative that is not just a mixture that someone with no experience put together but a licensed company that is registered with the BBB. > > > Had a rough night last night with my breathing as our humidity > > dramatically increased.
