Guest guest
The Orgreenic (hope I got that right) will have two for $19.99 but will cost $6.50 each for shipping. Nice to have 2 pans for so little more.  I haven't seen the ones at B, B and Beyond. I did get a very inexpensive ceramic knife and veggie pealer there -- $14.95. I gave it to my daughter and hope to get one for my DIL as well. I would get one for me, too, but I have some good knives. I heard that the ceramic knife is one that may break or mess up after awhile, but when My SIL and I cut with it, it was really sharp and was so nice for cutting tomatoes, etc. I figured for $14.95, if they got a year's usage or less it was worthwhile. Their other knives were so bad that I couldn't cut with them at all. We were visiting in CA and I was trying to make an apple crisp (how I learned about Ceylon cinnamon) and I couldn't cut with their knife and their veggie peeler was even worse. That was at B, B & B as well but didn't know they had ceramic veggie peeler when I asked aboutit.  I said then, " If I weren't as old as I am, I'd buy me a ceramic knife, but mine are working great and there is no sense in getting one of those. "  Then the guy said, " Wait, I might have that. "  And they showed me a knife and veggie peeler in ceramic or with ceramic blades. If you haven't tried a ceramic veggie peeler, you ought to get one of those and this would get you a knife but just realize that it isn't going to work as well as as one of the expensive ones. But it is possible that if we are careful that the knife will last a good while. I do have a ceramic peeler and it is fantastic. Have to recommend it as it is best peeler I've ever had. have a mandolin with a ceramic blade too and it is the only one I've had that worked worth a darn. Really finely sliced onions and tomatoes are possible, as well as root veggies. Can't cut them that narrow otherwise, or I can't. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Saturday, May 26, 2012 12:07 PM Subject: Re: I used the Orgreenic pan for my patties  Has anyone used the ceramic skillets that they have at Bed, Bath & Beyond? I think they're $19.95, and if you have a 20% off coupon that brings it down a bit. H.
