My, uh, " gut feeling, " going from what you're saying, is that this is

an area of normal fat deposition. It could be more visible because of

fat loss elsewere, or could be the fat changes seen with advancing age.

Then again, it could be something new. Most guys I see with

lipoatrophy have no pubic fat pad.
