Guest guest
Thanks for the feedback everyone. And this info is helpful, Judy. I have too many GI problems to use aspirin, but since the 5 mg Singulair dose doesn't seem to be making much of a difference (or causing noticeable side effects) it's likely she'll push me up to 10 mgs. Buriedin the jumble of Singulair facts is some infoindicating that tests have shown that doses higherthan 10mg have no increased effect on anyone, unlikemany other medications. So I would imagine that 10 isthe amount for everyone on it, unless like you theyrequire a smaller dosage.Being medication sensitive, you should be cautiousabout taking any aspirin with Singulair or for hourseither way of the dose, because aspirin causes higherlevels in the bloodstream and it stays medicallyavailable for a longer period of time.I'm on 10mg, but sometimes when the only samples mynurse has available are 5 mg, rather than take two,I'll take just one, along with a couple aspirin.I'm also on a variety of allergy medications andAdvair.TCJudy
