I'm answering for ... hope it's okay...

DID NOT get approved. She and her husband approved themselves...

will be a self-pay.

I am hopeful that Jo's suggestion comes true... that those who deny wls gain

every pound we lose :)

Thank you Tracey - NO AETNA is NOT covering my surgery. :{ The jerks

But, at least my hubby sees that I just can't keep going like this until

AETNA wakes up in 1-2-3 years from now. I just can't wait. I am having

soooo many health problems that I worry that some health thing will happen

that will make it so I can't have the surgery at all.

And, I realize after much soul searching that I really do want to live and

not wake up every day wondering if I will be alive come sundown. I want to

feel healthy and normal without my hands and feet turning blue/purple all the

time. I want to be able to walk again and feel strong and be able to go

places shopping without worry about - what if I pass out this time? And,

who will want to try and help some 300+ person?

The money part scares me. But, existing like this every day scares me just

as much.

, I'm so happy for you! Your husband is a great guy! My mom

did the same thing for me since my husband didn't have the money and

we couldn't get a loan for the surgery . We tried. So, I was a self-

pay, too! I've never regretted one penny of that loan from my mom.

Of course, we'll be paying her off for the rest of our lives but now

that I have my health back, that's a lot easier! :)

Congratulations again!
