Hi Annie,

I have been wondering where you were and have been thinking about you. Were you the one who had a liver problem, or was that somebody else? I am pretty new here. Anyway I want to thank you for the short list you did of terms; I did not know the ones you printed out before. And now I am wondering if you could do a longer list, like EVERY TERM that is used in this group. That way I could print it out and set it beside me here, and when I encounter one of them in a message, I would know what people are talking about.

Loved the ymmv; your mileage may very. My daughter delivers mail and she was always saying what is your ETA? Drove me nuts, and finally I got it into my head it meant Estimated Time of Arrival. They do that a lot at the post office, got to get the job done in a day, and when carriers are having trouble they call in for help. Like say their ETA would be 6:00 p.m. and everybody has to be back to the shop by 5:00 p.m. or the union goes bonkers, so the boss sends somebody out to help them.

Right now she is off work till early October because she had a baby boy on July 27th. I watched him and the other two all day the other day while she drove to get her husband from work a couple a hundred miles away. It was fun but I was sure glad when she made it back home, will have all three come October, all day almost everyday.........

My dh (dear husband) is Ron, and we've been married 30 years this Dec. Our kidlings are Kris, who is 35, ADD (adult dx [diagnosis]), and lives in AZ working for American Express, and Louie, 24, HFA/AS (High Functioning Autist/Asperger's Syndrome Autist), in assisted living and a working man with several volunteer gigs. Rounding out the mix is a tank full of guppies who will remain nameless and Chuckles, my dh's mouthy conure (a small green parrot, like y in the movie of the same name). :)You will see these terms here:NT = neurotypicalNDA = not diagnosed with anythingdx = diagnosisand on my emails sometimes:ymmv = your mileage may varyWelcome!Annie, who loves ya annie@...-- People are lucky and unlucky not according to what they get absolutely, but according to the ratio between what they get and what they have been led to expect. ~

Well, the ones I sent are the most common. Of course there's HFA and

AS, but I think you probably know those. :) And there's the regular

online stuff, like LOL (Laughing out loud), ROFLMAO (Rolling on the

floor laughing my a** off), BTW (by the way), and AFAIK (as far as I

know). Also dh (dear husband), dw, (dear wife) dd (dear daughter), ds

(dear son). That's all I can think of offhand. Anyone else?

Well that explains why we get our mail as late as 5 some days, when

usually it comes at 10:30 - 11:30. Of course, that's when our regular

guy delivers, the early time. :)
