Guest guest
Hi Had a conversation with Charlie last night. Asked him to write about his day on the computer. Started out with 'I am great' Then he said ' I got a bad dream' I asked what about - his reply' about Chucky the doll that kill's people'!!!!!!! We have to be very careful - there is so much bad that is easily accessed!! (Charlie got hold of his mum's I Pad and immediately got onto the internet - these children are very clever!) His mumhas taken note. Jill
Guest guest
We've have just bought and Ipad for . I have uploaded a couple of puzzles and basic counting games onto it. He seems to like it. He has picked up the basics but still puts his elbow up for support now and again - I only need to put a finger on his elbow and this seems to help him with his dyspraxia. These are smart children - once they can be understood! He was using my computer then - he uses the keyboard. Some of that was just a conversation as I was concerned that he was watching an 'X' film! On the I Pad he just went on the Internet himself. He brings up the keyboard and types what he want to watch or he plays games. hadn't figured that out herself at the time. I don't know how he learnt although they do use computers at school. At one time they found he had downloaded around 2000 photos and we had to ask him how to do it! They just need to keep a close eye on him! Just wanted others to be aware too that children are very clever!
