No, oral digestive enzymes won't affect the enzymes deficient in MPS because those enzymes are inside of cells where oral enzyme supplements can't get to. Sent from Devin's iPhone

I've just received a letter from 3 yr old sons paed with some test results including:urine for GAGS were normal so it is unlikely he has metabolic condition such as mucopolysaccharidosis.I had never heard of this so had a look at it - its enzyme deficiencies indicated in carbohydrate metabolism. This really made me think - Charlie biggest turnaround was giving no fenol which works by removing a carbohydrate group.Does anyone know if by using no fenol it would make a ormal poisitve test show normal results.Any one know any more about this.ThanksAlison R
