Guest guest
I changed the settings on both the nonBP groups and the WTO groups to discussion per the desires of many members. In other words, you can converse on both of them or either of them. As we grow, I envision that both sets will be necessary--especially when the SWOE workbook comes out. Whether you decide to all move to one or the other or just cross-post, I am sorry for the inconvenience. To those who felt emotionally discombobulated, I especially apologize. When you live with someone with BPD, you want something consistent and comforting. WTO will always be open, and I will always do my best to make you feel at home. I do believe that something very good came out of this, though. I felt good about people offering to help moderate and assume some responsibility for their list. As long as we all adhere to the guidelines and maintain a positive tone, there will be consistency no matter who moderates. I like the paradigm of Nons empowering other Nons; perhaps it builds confidence and trust. In closing, thanks so much to all the people who thanked me for being a resource and helping them. I will be printing their letters out for my next job interview (just kidding)! It is very nice to have support, and I will answer you individually as fast as I can with a deadline approaching. A friend of mine who runs a nursing home believes that elders living in senior housing need more than care--they need to care for someone. And the people who take care of the elders need their own support system. Again, I thank you and apologize. Change of subject. If you are interested in giving me feedback on SWOE workbook exercises, please send your name to me at Swoeworkbook@.... So far the feedback has been very helpful.
