Guest guest
Any thoughts / experiences would be much appreciated on my dilemma. We have a high test result Clostrida and its been recommended we use oral vancomycin. Unfortunately we did the sample just before we started the introductory GAPS diet which 3 yr old ASD son has been tolerating well for a month. Really torn about giving antibiotics after all the saurkraut, sour cream etc and probios we have been giving (granted the probios aren't 'legal'). Have high hopes for the diet. We give 1 sachet VSL#3 and 3 culturelle on top of all the fermented food. Going to add Sacch B, but will any amount of probios help do you think or in the experience of this group do we need something harder hitting? Was giving L Glutamine and NAC but I believe if the guts not healed these can exacerbate the clostrida problem so have stopped My head is fit to explode at the moment, need some clear thoughts.......
