Guest guest Posted April 14, 2005 Report Share Posted April 14, 2005 My eligibilty meeting lasted close to 3 hours today, but I came out of it with the Aspergers diagnosis/label that I wanted. How sad is that - to " want " this condition for a child?!? At least now she can get the services that she really needs, and not be stuck in the LD program that was doing more harm than good. For that I am thankful. We meet again in 2 weeks to re-write her IEP under the autism label and set new goals. I'll keep you posted. Debora Mom to -almost 6.
