Guest guest
,There was a very good piece in the LA times about this a few days ago, I would check there. This is "breaking news." I would certainly discuss it with your doctor. I don't know if other drugs in the same class will have this complication, or not.For the time being, this seems a very rare complication for the treatment of a very common and lethal disease. I would certainly pay careful attention. On Apr 26, 2006, at 8:02 AM, PozHealth wrote: I'm concerned about the fosamax possibly causing osteonecrosis of the jaw. Anyone here thinking about stopping it? I've talked with a pharmacist about it today and now I'm waiting on my doctor to call me back. I've taken it about 5 years now and I'm considered to have osteopenia of the hips although it has improved significantly according to my last dexa scan. Maybe I should just take a break from it. I'm confused lol. Barrowpozbod@...
