I have been there also. Viruses can setup your broncial tubes to

react to every little thing. Children in Daycare get everything and

pass everything. I have worked daycare as an instructor's helper

and came down with EVERYTHING. The fragrance problem is also

something I struggle with. It can send me to the ER in a

heartbeat. I move when I start to smell someone with fragrance on

and get to the other side of the room with some ventilation as soon

as I can. You may want to also keep cough drops in your purse to

help calm down your bronchiol tubes and so you are not overusing

your albuterol, because of the side effects of the albuterol. The

doctor's in the ER call what you are going through an Asthma

exaserbation secondary to a Upper respitory infection. The

infection could be viral or bacterial. Your lungs are just trying

to protect you from the perceived threat.

Keep at it and realize that children bring thing home. It will also

happen when they start school and get new friends. THESE are times

that you can not really just take them out of so easily.

Just some info

Best of luck!

The bugs your child is bringing home have started a process of inflammation in your lungs. Our resident RRT/EMT may be able to help more. Matt, Oh, Matt, where are you? LOL. He'll try to answer your questions I'm sure. I was originally triggered off by a 26 year smoking habit which, Praise God, I was able to quit 6 years ago. I am also sensitive to perfumes and scents. I have to be careful about picking up bugs, too. I can get bronchitis very easily so I hope I don't get sick any time soon. You should consider getting both flu and pneumonia shots this year for you and a flu shot for the baby. Take care,

Thank you so much for responding in detail. I have felt very alone in this.

My co-workers are starting to brand me as a " sick' person I'm sure of it.

It has been really frustrating because just when I seem to be getting better it

hits again. I think the also change in weather sets off a sinusitis which goes

into my chest and THEN gets infected too. Have you heard of any of these

symptoms being related to post pregnancy?

What are the side effects of albuteral? My doctors did not explain this to me I

think because I was in such need of it.
